Trying to get used to wigs

I have to say I am really warming up to the idea of wigs. I almost always wear a hat even with a wig. It gives me more comfort knowing that people can’t tell it’s a wig and it stays on better. At home though, I always take the wig off and just wear a hat or nothing on my head. It’s like a bra. You just cannot wait to get home and take it off! Wigs are not comfortable at all in case anyone is wondering.

      1. Is love reading your blog. I feel the same way though sometimes. It seems like in the beginning I knew people wanted to read it and know what is going on with my diagnosis but now sometimes I feel like I’m just boring people. Oh well. Don’t be self conscious! Your blog is great! 😄

You look awesome! I know when the day comes that you reveal that beautiful bald head of yours, I will say the same thing.
I ordered your bobbed wig and slouch hat yesterday. So be on the lookout in a couple of weeks. The lady, Louise in England, that makes these wigs, is so nice. She always answers my questions promptly.
Just so you know, people all over the US contributed to this one. From Minnesota, to North Dakota, Ohio and Colorado. They all love you! I love you!

You’re gorgeous! How much fun it must be to be able to have a different style or color anytime you want 🙂 I’m glad you’re comfortable in the wigs. I look forward to the day you reveal your beautiful bald head to the world. I love you! Keep the updates coming. I love reading them!

Wow Amy! They all look great on you. Kinda fun to change your hairstyle and color to match your mood for the day! And I agree with Jen, brown hair looks good on you. See you Saturday for the party!

You look great! I can’t help with wigs, but I knit a lot and can knit you a nice warm hat. In a Minnesota winter, no one will know if you have hair or not! My 3 year old nephew was diagnosed in January with leukemia. Hence the profile pic. If you would like one, let me know what colors, and I will get right on it. When it’s done, you can give me your address! Or, you can get me on Facebook. I will give you my email and phone number more privately! Even if I don’t heat from you, I’m thinking about you, and have no worries! You got this!
