Update

I just want everyone to know that I am doing very well. After having the patch done for my spinal headache last week things have only improved. My headache is finally gone. I had some pretty bad mouth sores which is a side effect from chemo but those have almost cleared up. The only side effects I am experiencing right now is a sore back still from the spinal tap, and occasional headache, a couple mouth sores that are healing, and I get out of breath and tired very easily. I haven’t had nausea this week which is great. Oh and one more side effect to note is that my hair has begun to fall out. As of yesterday I can now pull my hair out in chunks. It falls out when I brush it. It’s getting everywhere. I went in today for a shorter hair cut but I’m betting by the end of next week I will have to shave my head. I’m hoping I don’t lose my eyebrows or lashes. I go in for my second cycle of chemo next Thursday the 18th of September. I have been pretty good about staying home and just resting. I don’t want to be out and about much catching germs. My immune system is very compromised right now and I don’t want to get sick. So I’ve been pretty home bound. I have had visitors though to keep me company which is nice when I’m feeling well enough.

Amy! Who is doing your hair?! I absolutely love both of your new looks!
I realize this one is probably very temporary, but it’s lovely, just as each new stage will be. And each new stage is one step closer to regaining your health!
We miss you and your mom at HQ. Next show starts Thurs, with an additional Sept sale the following week. We’ll all be thinking of you.
    Prayers and strength,
